Terms & Conditions (Look for penalty charges)

Please read and accept our terms and conditions prior to user registration.

The Pawington is a trading name of Umdlwane Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13173892).

By a) enrolling a dog with or b) permitting a dog to attend or c) accepting the Services of The Pawington and its staff, the Client is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Please note that the Pawington may at any time amend or change the terms and conditions, therefor it is necessary for me to always read and understand the content of it while my dog is attending doggy daycare at the Pawington.

The amount of dogs at the Pawington Doggy Daycare will not exceed and it limited to 10 dogs per day at the same time.

The Pawington may act in my absence as guardian of my dog and may perform or take any action which they deem necessary in order to protect and keep my dog in good health.  In the event of an emergency situation the Pawington have the authority to make important healthcare related decisions on behalf of myself in the instance that I cannot be contacted and the matter is a dog welfare issue – in collaboration with their partnered vets.

Please note that the Pawington is in partnership with Ark Veterinary Surgery Mobberley, and if my dog needs treatment for whatever reason, it will be taken to Ark Vets and I will be responsible for all costs involved.

I agree to keep with the drop off and collection times and I do take notice that penalty charges are involved for early drop off or late collections. Penalty charges are calculated at 50p per minute.

Please note, we would appreciate no less than 48 hours’ notice of any cancellations. Any late cancellations will be liable for the full charge if we are unable to fill the space.


I will make sure my dog is microchipped, has a steady collar and a name tag around its neck. I will not let my dog walk off lead under any circumstances on the premises of the Pawington.  My dog will always on a lead.

I will visually inspect my dog for injuries, ticks, fleas and make sure it is fit and healthy before entering the premises of the Pawington.  If my dog doesn’t have a normal stool or urinate normally, I cannot take it to daycare.

I will let the Pawington know of any changes in my dogs behaviour, health or anything that concerns them or could potentially have an effect on other humans of dogs.

My dog(s) is fit and healthy to take part in any activities whilst at The Pawington and is capable of play and exercise with other dogs unless I have made you specifically aware of any exercise restrictions.

All dogs must pass a general behaviour assessment in order to attend doggy daycare at The Pawington.  No dog may be admitted that shows any signs of any type of aggression. I confirm my dog(s) is friendly to other dogs and humans and shows no aggression unless I have made you fully aware of it. Any dog demonstrating aggression or other behaviour deemed to be unacceptable by The Pawington staff may be required to leave daycare irrespective of the length of time the dog has been enrolled at The Pawington.


We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any dog or to dismiss any dog that does not meet the health, temperament or other daycare standards. The determination shall be made at the sole discretion of daycare staff.


My dog(s) is healthy and will at all times, while attending The Pawington, have current vaccinations including the kennel cough vaccine and regular treatment for worms, ticks and fleas. I will provide The Pawington with an up to date copy of my dog(s) vaccination record annually. I am not enrolling any dog to The Pawington that has any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other dogs or people and has not had any potentially communicable condition within 21 days prior to enrolment.

I also understand that even if my dog is vaccinated for Kennel Cough there is still a chance that Kennel Cough can be contracted. I agree that I will NOT and CANNOT keep The Pawington responsible if my dog(s) contracts Kennel Cough.

Female dogs that come into season will not be permitted to enter the daycare until she is clearly out of season. This is usually 2-3 weeks.

Entire male dogs will only be accepted into daycare depending on the individual and it’s behaviour. These dogs will be monitored closely and if any changes occur in the male dogs behaviour it would immediately be dismissed.

We at the Pawington do not take any responsibility for female dogs that falls pregnant by accident to a male dog and as stated females in season are unable to attend our doggy daycare.

To have appropriate insurance is not a must but is recommended to cover my dog(s) personal injury in the unlikely event of an incident or accidents. Alternatively, I agree to cover any costs relating to incidents or accidents that may occur at The Pawington and on its premises which result in injury or death to my dog. All interaction and dog play is monitored by daycare staff to avoid incidents however, I understand my dog(s) may sustain accidental injuries and I agree to cover any veterinary fees pertaining to my dog. Pawington nor its employees will not accept responsibility for the death, injury or illness of your dog whilst at daycare. You are strongly advised to insure your pet for all eventualities.

My dog(s) has not been suffering from any infectious or contagious diseases/illnesses or been exposed to such a disease/illness during the 21 days prior to attending daycare at Pawington.

I understand that there are other dogs in the daycare and that my dog can share play areas within the daycare centre and attend group walk on Broadoak Farm.

I take notice that my dog’s place at The Pawington doggy daycare is not secured until full payment is received and my dogs booking is confirmed. I can do the payment online when my dog gets booked in, or I can make the payment when dropping my dog off in the morning at the Pawington.  Any early drop off or late collection penalties that apply is payable on the same day at collection.  Cash, card and online payments are accepted.

I confirm that all vehicles are parked on the premises of The Pawington and Broadoak Farm at your own risk.  I will always respect the space of the permanent residence and their animals.

I am aware that I will be treated with respect from the owners and staff of the Pawington and agree to treat them in the same manner. Bad or disrespectful behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and that individual/s will be asked to leave with immediate effect.

  • In case of foreseen circumstances, the owners of the Pawington daycare dogs should be informed that the daycare will be closed for amount of time established not shorter then 7 days prior to closing.
  • In case of an emergency evacuation, owners will be contacted immediately to discuss the situation.
  • In case of an emergency evacuation, dogs already on the premises will be escorted to analternative large outdoor secure barn. This barn is a large open area with proper roof covering. (25m x 14,5m).  Water will be supplied.
  • The Pawington will be closed until the premises are inhabitable again.


This is a guide to what should be done to keep all dogs attending The Pawington Doggy Daycare healthy.  We believe in a preventative approach and rely on the dog owners to make sure your dog is healthy and in good condition, including:


  • Annual Vaccinations
  • Kennel Couch Vaccination
  • Full on Vet’s inspection Annually
  • Full on Owner inspection 2-4 times per week (from head to tail)
  • Deworming takes place 6 – 8 times per year according to the product and their vets advice.
  • Flea and tick treatment are done once a month.
  • Nails has to be checked by the owners once a month.
  • Dental examination once a month by the owners
  • Veterinary advice or treatment to be sought as required


The user/customer/client/owner agrees:


  1. To pay in full all amounts due on the day of making the Daycare booking without any set-off, counterclaim, deduction or withholding (except for any deduction or withholding required by law). The Pawington may at any time, without limiting its other rights or remedies, set off any amount owing to it by the Client against any amount payable by The Pawington to the Client.


  1. The Client will take responsibility for any costs which may be incurred, by either veterinary or other, as a result of any damage, accident, or sickness caused to or by their dog and will pay any such costs or expenses on demand.
    3. Nothing in the agreement shall limit or exclude The Pawington liability for:
    a. death or personal injury to a human being or animal caused by its negligence, or the negligence of its employees, agents or subcontractors;
    b. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
    c. breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (title and quiet possession) or any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
  2. Subject to clause 3, The Pawington shall not be liable to the Client, whether in agreement, or (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with the Contract for:
    a. loss of profits;
    b. loss of sales or business;
    c. loss of agreements or contracts;
    d. loss of anticipated savings;
    e. loss of damage to goodwill; and
    f. any indirect or consequential loss.
  3. Subject to clause 3, The Pawington’s total liability to the Client, whether in agreement (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with the Contract shall be limited to £1000 or the total fees paid under the agreement whichever is lower.
    6. The terms implied by sections 3 to 5 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the agreement.
    7. In agreeing to the figure set under clause 5 above the Client agrees that he/ she is able to ensure the Client’s dog under a pet insurance policy and is likewise able to insure home and property contents under a house and contents insurance policy. The Client is advised to notify his/her insurers of the day care arrangement in order to be covered under the pertinent insurance policies. The Client understands that The Pawington is only able to offer its competitive fees on the basis of its clients insuring its pets appropriately.
  4. The Client’s dog may be transported with other dogs in any vehicle of choice by The Pawington staff. The Client agrees that The Pawington cannot be held liable for death or injury to their dog in the event of a motor vehicle accident.
  5. The Pawington may hold in possession the keys to the Client’s home and the Client is responsible for making arrangements with its own insurers with this regard.
  6. The Pawington is an off-lead environment. The Client gives permission for The Pawington to walk their dog/s off the lead. The Client gives consent to their dog playing and interacting with other dogs in The Pawington and Broadoak Farm field environment. All activity takes place within The Pawington secure premises and Broadoak Farm fields.
  7. For dogs under and over one year, by sending their dog to The Pawington, the Client gives consent to The Pawington to match their dog to a group based on age, play style, temperament and size to ensure their experience is the best suited during the stay at The Pawington. The Client consents to The Pawington making this decision based on the individual dog.
  8. The Client has explicitly confirmed that their dog has no record of aggressive or anti-social behaviour, and they have made a full and frank disclosure of any characteristic or trait that might make their dog unsuitable for socialising with other dogs.
  9. Should the Client’s dog be deemed to be unsuitable by The Pawington, The Pawington reserves the right to cancel the booking indefinitely, with immediate effect.
  10. Females in season generally cannot attend for at least 4 weeks.
  11. The Client agrees to ensure that their dog/s will be kept up to date on all vaccinations, de-worming and de-fleaing.
  12. If fleas, ticks or lice are noticed on the Client’s dog, the Client will receive immediate communication to seek advice from their vet. The Pawington will not administer medication without the Client’s consent. If the Client cannot be contacted the dog will be monitored and isolated if appropriate, until the dog is collected from day care.

a. In the event of requiring emergency treatment, the Client agrees that the designated emergency vet of The Pawington is authorised to treat the dog. In any other circumstances the Client will be contacted and treatment/appointments will take place through their dog’s regular registered vet.

  1. The owner or designated main point of contact must be contacted to give consent for euthanasia in ALL circumstances where this is recommended as the course of action by a veterinary professional. Should the client and the dog’s emergency contact not be contactable, veterinary advice will be followed. In the unfortunate circumstances of an emergency, where warranted The Pawington vows to keep a record of all euthanasia and the identity of the qualified veterinarian that carried it out.
  2. Medicines instructed to be given to their dog during daycare at The Pawington by the Client will be stored, used and disposed of in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer. Medicines will only be administered to their dog with the Client’s consent following veterinary advice.
  3. The Client consents that crates may be used for rest breaks and feeding if required and in the event of exceptional circumstances to maintain dog and human safety as appropriate and only if necessary, their dog may be placed in a crate for a limited time. Dogs will not be placed in a crate for longer than one hour in any 8 hour period as this is the guidance under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 – Statutory Guidance for providing day care for dogs.
  4. The Pawington does not supply dog food. If the Client supplies their dog with a daily meal whilst at The Pawington then the Client understands their dog will be fed in a separated area in isolation from other dogs.
  5. By attending The Pawington, the Client consents for The Pawington to feed their dog food supplied by the Client.
  6. All dogs who attend The Pawington partake in an enrichment programme that involves socialisation, play, scents, snacks and interaction and by sending their dog to The Pawington the Client consents to their dog partaking in these activities, appropriate adjustments will be made to allow the participation of dogs with special requirements.
  7. The Pawington is closed on bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year. Swap days are not available for the period between Christmas and New Year, The Pawington fees are calculated over 51 weeks of the year to take into account this closed period.
  8. The Client gives consent for their dog’s image to be used in photo or video format on The Pawington promotional material and social media or in any format that The Pawington considers appropriate.
  9. Force Majeure. Neither party shall be in breach of this agreement nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under this agreement if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
  10. Entire Agreement
    a. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
    b. Each party agrees that it shall have no remedies in respect of any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in this agreement. Each party agrees that it shall have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or negligent misstatement based on any statement in this agreement.
  11. Variation. No variation of the agreement shall be effective unless it is in writing and notified or accepted by The Pawington (or its appointed director(s)).
  12. Waiver. A waiver of any right or remedy is only effective if given in writing and shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. A delay or failure to exercise, or the single or partial exercise of, any right or remedy shall not:
    a. waive that or any other right or remedy; or
    b. prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
  13. Severance, if any provision or part-provision of the agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the agreement.
  14. Notices.
    a. Any notice or other communication given to a party under or in connection with the Contract shall be in writing, addressed to that party at its registered office or such other address as that party may have specified to the other party in writing in accordance with this clause, and shall be delivered personally, or sent by pre-paid first class post or other next working day delivery service, commercial courier, fax or email to the correct addressed email address if sent delivered-read (so email delivery and receipt can be acknowledged).
    b. A notice or other communication shall be deemed to have been received: if delivered personally, when left at the Client’s address provided by him/her; if sent by pre-paid first class post or other next working day delivery service to the same address, at 9.00 am on the second business day after posting; if delivered by commercial courier, on the date and at the time that the courier’s delivery receipt is signed; or, if sent by fax or email one business day after transmission
    c. The provisions of this clause shall not apply to the service of any proceedings or other documents in any legal action.
  15. Third parties. No one other than a party to the agreement shall have any right to enforce any of its terms.
  16. Governing law. The agreement and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
  17. Jurisdiction. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with the Contract or its subject matter or formation.
